Have your say on the Bunhill, Barbican and Golden Lane healthy neighbourhood scheme

The Bunhill, Barbican and Golden Lane healthy neighbourhood scheme is a joint project between the City of London Corporation and Islington Council.

It will prioritise street spaces for people walking cycling and using public transport, and will make these unique neighbourhoods more vibrant and successful places where people can lead active and healthy lives.

In 2023 the City of London Corporation team asked the public for feedback on the streets in the Bunhill, Barbican and Golden Lane area. Through this feedback they have come up with ideas to improve those streets and to make these neighbourhoods better places to live, work and visit.

The City of London Corporation now want to understand your level of support for these ideas. To find out about the proposals and to have your say, you can visit Commonplace Healthy Streets website.(external link) The consultation will close on 20 December 2024.

If you wish to discuss your ideas with the project team, you can attend an in-person or online drop-in session, visit Bunhill, Barbican and Golden Lane Healthy Neighbourhood - City of London to find which session you're able to attend.
