About this event
More than half of adults don’t feel confident talking to someone who is deaf.
This has created a reluctance for people to talk to someone who is deaf or hard of hearing, creating increases in feelings of loneliness and isolation for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Learn about the ‘do’s and don’t’s’ of communicating with people who are deaf or hard of hearing with Jane Richardson, a qualified speech and language therapist who will go through the best ways to communicate.
Refreshments will be provided.
