This pandemic is still increasing pressure on unpaid carers, it is wise to know what rights unpaid carers have. Click on the link below for a list of local and national events which allow City residents to join. The list has been compiled by Shirley Islam, an unpaid Carer in the City and founder of City Carers Community.

Freedom of the City of London

We would like to congratulate Shirley Islam, the founder of City Carers Community and Farzana Khanom, Carers Connections Project Manager on their Freedom of the City award, nominated by The Right Honorable The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. It is deeply deserved for all of their work in their service to unpaid carers in the City of London.
